About me
I'm Lee Barends, a 24-year-old with a strong work ethic and a fervor for various creative endeavors. From a young age, I've actively pursued my interests in design, such as logo design, custom artwork, social media management, and Photoshop, immersing myself in the dynamic realm of digital content creation.
Currently, I'm enrolled in e-commerce design studies at the Media College Amsterdam. Crafting websites as a UX/UI designer, making content and creating marketing plans are my strong suits. I am a strategic worker, which helps me stay organized and on top of my work. Whenever problems arise, I like to tackle them head-on. Solving problems as quickly and efficiently as possible is something I strive for, not only for my own benefit but for my team and clients as well. My methodical approach aids in efficient work processes. I pay close attention to clients' preferences and excel in independent work.
My skills
Since beginning this MBO course, I have significantly enhanced my skills and knowledge. My expertise primarily lies in designing and prototyping websites and applications using Adobe XD, as well as creating illustrations, including logos and vector art, in Adobe Illustrator.
Additionally, I have honed my communication and presentation abilities, enabling me to confidently present to audiences of up to 30 people.
I have also discovered a passion for the marketing aspects of my studies, which has fostered my enthusiasm for generating and developing innovative ideas.

Adobe XD
I am proficient in Adobe XD. I can transform simple wireframes into fully functional prototypes and create animations and transitions within the program.
Adobe illustrator
I am well-versed in Adobe Illustrator, with expertise in creating vector art, logos, and posters designed for digital platforms. Additionally, I am continually expanding my knowledge and gaining proficiency in the new AI functionalities within the software.
Premiere Pro
I have a solid proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with skills in editing, creating text animations, masking, and other related tasks. I am continuously expanding my knowledge and learning new techniques.
