Standalone projects

Here is a collection of my projects completed independently of my main school curriculum and outside academic settings.

My heritage

Premerie Pro

This video was created as part of a video assignment during my first or second year. For the assignment, I chose to produce a short documentary/informational video about Keti Koti, a day that holds great significance for my family and me.

Music video lyrics

Premerie Pro

This project was completed as part of a school assignment, where we were tasked with creating a brief video. The objective was to produce a lyric video for a song of our choice.

Intro banner

Premiere pro

This video was created as a learning exercise to develop skills in creating engaging intro banners for videos.

For this project, I used the comedy documentary series "Cunk on Britain" as my subject.

Logo design

Procreate

This is a logo I designed for a Twitch streamer.

He requested a simple yet dynamic design that would be easily recognizable from a distance.

Logo design

Procreate

This is a logo I designed for an American beauty app, created specifically for people of color, primarily women, who want to manage all their beauty appointments in one place.

The client requested a simple, line-free design featuring a woman of African heritage. Additionally, they wanted the app's name subtly incorporated into the design. I chose to hide the name within her earrings.

Logo design

Procreate

I developed the logo for a coffee shop based in the Netherlands.

The client's inspiration came from a dog skull found online, posing a unique challenge to create a distinctive and recognizable design suitable for both printing and embroidery on apparel.

In response, I crafted two iterations of the logo: one prioritizing uniqueness and recognizability, and the other focusing on practicality for print applications.

Ultimately, both designs were selected by the client for implementation.

Poster

Adobe Illustrator

During our first year, we were tasked with a small project: creating a poster for new students, highlighting essential items they need upon arrival. The poster had to convey the message visually, without using words.
