Assignment

Our final project for the second year of my program. We were assigned with someone and work together to create a new e-leanring skill website. My partner and I created Artsy Academy, a digital platform where people can learn how to turn their traditonal art into digital art.

Learning goals

The logo

My partner and I collaborated to create five logos each, totaling ten designs. We selected the sketch in the lower right corner of the second image. I designed that logo to resemble a painting palette brought to life, with colors and shapes inspired by contemporary digital art, utilizing forms to fill space creatively.

Once we selected our preferred logo, I digitalized it using Adobe Illustrator. Initially, we created a larger logo incorporating all shapes and colors, but it proved difficult to read from a distance. In our second revision, we simplified the design by removing the colors and retaining only the shape.

For our final revision, we decided to retain only the eye, removing the smile and nose. This further simplified the logo, enhancing its recognizability from a distance and ensuring it could be scaled to any size without losing detail.
